Tracking Poachers Using Fake Eggs

Sea turtles eggs have been poached for hundreds of years but it is today a very critical situation given the status of sea turtles. Every year in Nicaragua and other countries its several hundred of eggs that disappear in the hand of poachers for the black market. To that extent, Paso Pacifico proposed to design fake eggs equipped with a GSM transmitter that could be tracked over cellular networks in order to better understand and maybe stop the illegal trade
